Hold my teeth please...

This is mostly funny to those of you who know my mom... and when she finds out I put it on here she's going to KILL me! hahaha.

Sooo... for those of you who know my mom, you know that she has false teeth and has for as long as I can remember. She has a little "act" that she does without her teeth in and no-one ever recognizes her. AND if you ever been fortunate enough to go to girls camp with her... you probably saw her take them out a time or two then also! Well... it's kind of been a tradition for g-ma to take out her teeth and scare the kids... like asking them to hold them and stuff. Which was what I was actually trying to get when I started videoing. She kept taking them out and asking Marleigh to hold them and Mar would scream and almost cry and then tell her to do it again. Anyway, Mar saw that I had the phone on video and got this for me... I wonder where Pam Winder is now? She'd get a kick out of this!

Pointe Break Convention

So this weekend, after helping my fasha, I took Marliegh to a dance convention on Friday night & Saturday morning. Gabby and Ashlin from the stuido went too. It was at the Pointe Academy in Lindon. Megan's (one of my moms from the studio AND a great friend) best friend from HS, Darcie, owns the studio and invited us! The Odyssey Dance Theater shares their studio and so the Pointe Academy is very fortunate to use the dancers as teachers! All of them have the best credentials... 2 had been on So You Think You Can Dance, 2 were dancers and assistant choreographers for HS Musical 1,2, & 3, among A LOT of other movies & music videos, and all of them had danced all over the world! (I really could go on and on)

Marleigh had the BEST time. Her favorite teacher was Matt Dorame (a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance). He taught them a couple dances but her favorite was a really cute dance to Fan Tan Fanny. (The video is on my facebook... it's too hard to upload videos on here). After one of her Hip Hop classes, she informed me that she thought her teacher (Brandon) was gay. LOL! Which he very obviously WAS! But a GREAT dancer! They had to learn a short dance in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contempary, Bollywood (reminded me of the love guru), and 2 in Hip Hop. And then do a Show for everyone. She was the youngest one in her class and did SOOOO good! The weekend was REALLY exciting and we LOVED it! Thanks Darcie for inviting us!

Mar: Mom, my head hurts...

Me: Why? Do you need to eat?

Mar: I don't know... It just hurts! It feels funny! Like something isn't in there that was in there before but it's not in there anymore!

Me: So stuff that was in your head before isn't in there anymore?

Mar: Yea!

Me: Like what?

Mar: Like 4+4. It's not there anymore... I don't know it anymore!

Me: WOW! So you don't know what 4+4 is anymore?

Mar: NO!

Me: Well do you know what 8+8 is?

Mar: Yes! I told you it was 4+4!

Me: Wow! That's tough!

Mar: I know!

What's she been watching?

So... my daughter got dressed up like a truck stop diner waitress tonight and Asked what I'd like to order. When I asked for an order of modesty she giggled and said "You're not my Mom! I have kids I'm trying to support here! What would you like to order?" I'm not going to tip her... she yelled at me!

Quirky Jerks

Carrie had this on her blog... and since I'm quirky!

1. I HAVE TO HAVE LOTION! Don't even bother waiting for me to wash my hands if I don't have lotion! YES I know it's gross... but then I obsess about my hands! IF THEIR IS WATER ON MY SKIN... THEIR HAD BETTER BE SOME LOTION INVOLVED! I lotion for about 1 hour after I shower! And I'll sometimes wake up in the middle of the night to put more on!

2. I'm VERY interested in the paranormal! I would absolutely LOVE to be a ghost hunter! Even if I saw one I'd pee my pants!

3. I have to have my makeup on before I can do my hair... I just can't see what I'll really look like in the end so it's pointless!

4. I used to have to delete all of the names off of Caller ID... It drove me crazy! Especially if it was someones number that I knew. Now I'm completely opposite... I can't delete anything off! It bugs me... and instead of just dialing the number I know by heart I'll find it on CID and then select dial.

5. When I do my laundry... and then fold it... I hang up all of the shirts (once they're on the hanger I put it in a GIANT pile and I hang up all at one time). I don't care how the shirt goes on the hanger BUT, when you lay the hanger, with the shirt, back on the bed make sure ALL of the hooks are going the same way please!

Amy got to go to the Jazz game on Monday... AND she got to enjoy the view! I'm sooo jealous! She had the best seats, right behind the team! I told her that if she couldn't bring me along to make out with Kyle then the least she could do was take a close up for me! Here it is! In all it's GLORY! THANK YOU AMY! Your the best friend EVER!!

Baby Shower

We had my nieces baby shower today. It was great to see everyone and laugh! I can't believe my little "mamers" is having a baby! We played a balloon game that you have to blow up the balloon and stick it under your shirt and then the person next to you goes. Then once your all through blowing them up, you pop them in the reverse order... My mom was hilarious! We decided it looked like a droopy boob. Anyway... LOVE YOU JAMIE... Can't wait to see Cohen!

And A Happy New Year!!

So... Trent's gone to North Dakota, Weston went to a friends, Marliegh fell asleep, and me and Al were feeling jipped about bringing in the new year with nothing to do. So we decided that we were going to get out the pots and pans and try to wake up Heather and the Zagers. We had fun... Kool Whip hated it! I'm not sure if we woke them up or not. :) After our fun we got ready for bed and 2 hours later I got to have my first experience of 09 by cleaning up puke! Mar woke up and didn't make it to the bathroom... four times... I slipped and almost feel in it trying to find the light. :'( Anyway, Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! I have a few resolutions myself that I'm just dying to accomplish! lol
