Midnight Sun.... :'(

Ok... so this is probably a dumb post for those of you who don't follow Twilight, but I'm posting it anyway!

If you follow the "Twilight Saga" you probably heard that the Edward book, Midnight Sun, was illegally leaked to the internet. And now she has decided to NOT write the book AT ALL! I am soooo sad! She did post the unfinished manuscript on her website tho if you want to read it.

I watched an interview of her that said that she was only going to do one book of his version anyway... but now that she isn't going to finish it I kind of feel a bit depressed! I want her to at least finish the saga and do all of the others... What I really want is to send her a letter that says how sorry I am that it happened and beg her not to punish her loyal fans, who would never consider doing such a thing, (YES!! I'm a bookworm, nerd right now!) but I haven't figured out how to stalk her yet ;)... so I'm blogging how sad I am. IT CAN'T BE OVER!!! I'M NOT READY FOR IT TO BE DONE!!! I was really looking forward to the Edward book...

Alright... I'm going to curl up in a ball and cry now.... WHAAAA!!

What to blog... what to blog...

So school started yesterday... I'm the worst mom ever and didn't get any pictures! Maybe if the bus didn't come so stinking early! My brain just isn't working that early in the day! At about 8:00 I remembered that I forgot! For yet another year. OH WELL... they made it through the day. Mar's in 2nd, she loves her teacher & her class. Weston's in 5th, he is getting used to the idea of waking up early again. Alex's in 8th, and never gives out to much information. But seems to like it.

Last Friday was the Annual Western Petroleum summer party. They always have a ball tournament, and it seems to be getting more popular as the years go by! I made the boys play this year. They complained at first, but secretly I know they loved it! Right? My Dad umped the game... no one else would and of course he couldn't say no. He just sat in his chair, and I threatened everyone with their life if they did anything stupid that would get him hurt!!! He was mad cause I kept putting up the umbrella. As you can see he didn't keep it there very long. Anyway... it was fun to have one last thing before school started.

The boys are playing football and love it. Alex plays offense, Weston defense. The practices were hard on them at first. Now that they're conditioned it's not so bad...

OH! Funny story... Trent decided to take the boys to Cabellas on Saturday. They hadn't been there yet and he thought it would be a fun little trip. While they were walking through the parking lot two girls, who were driving with their mom, rolled down the window and yelled to Alex that he was hot. Alex just smiled and kept on walking... maybe strutting.. who knows ;). And Weston informed him... "They could have been talking to me you know!" lol... Trent said he had him laughing the whole day.

Andi's Bum... I can't really consider this paybacks tho... She did it on purpose!

My past 2 weeks!

For those of you who don't know... My Dad was life flighted twice. Once for an internal bleed. They took him off his blood thinners to stop the bleeding and 3 days after being released he was life flighted again for heart attacks. After being in the hospital for another week they sent him home. Then on Wed. he started bleeding again! He's still home... I think they decided that the bleeding was from a clot in his kidney. Right now he is doing OK and of course you can't keep him away from work.



While we were in the city with my Dad, Weston also had all stars. We hooked up with the Rook family and went to Journey to the Center of the Earth. That was a good family flick! It was 3D so that's why we're all in our glasses. I thought I wasn't going to make it through the whole movie with them on but I got used to it after about 30 min. and it was a really good show!

Marleigh, Jessy, Braydee, & Brad found the snails out by the pool. The kids couldn't resist bringing them in. We had 4 of them named Gary, Larry, Jerry, and Harry... I think. Gary was the mischievous one who kept trying to crawl out of the cup! At lease it provided cheap entertainment for the kids.
