HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARLIEGH MOO!!!

My baby turned 10 on Saturday!! It's not as easy to snuggle with her as it was 10 years ago...  

We went to Salt Lake for a family reunion, went swimming, drove home, opened presents and went to dinner at Rockie's.  We're going to get her ears re-pierced  as soon as we can find a place that does them. :) ...Anyway, Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!!  LOVE YOU!!!

It's Gemini time!!!  Be prepared, because Gemini's don't just have birthday's... they have birthWEEKS!  We've already been out to dinner twice, went golfing, and have tried to do whatever his little heart desires.  GRANTED, I'm not very much fun to be around right now :(:(  But I try to have fun with him whenever I feel up to it... Sorry love xoxooxx.  Anyway, I wanted to tell my man how much I LOVE and appreciate him!!  I'm sooo, Sooo, SOOO BLESSED to have him.  I speak for the whole family when I say Thanks for all your efforts...

ANOTHER TEENAGER... :(

Every birthday that the kids have make it that much MORE official that I am getting old :'(...  My Mucktuckanucket, Stone Balone, Westonian, Moose, Stoney joined the ranks of teenager yesterday.  Sooooo, Happy Birthday my beautiful baby boy!!!!  Thanks for making us laugh and keeping us on our toes with your wittiness ...and stop tickling your mama :)  LOVE YOU!  XOXOXO

ISSUES and STINK BOMBS!!!!

So we ended that on Day 6 because we've had issues with our internet. :) Anyway... We'll get everything going again with a video of Stone Balone.

Weston went to Vernal with his friend Skylar and Skylar's grandma had bought them a bunch of silly things from the dollar store... STINK BOMBS INCLUDED!!! Sooooooo, they thought it would be funny to throw a stink bomb at me... WELL!!!! It wasn't going off as planned and I KNEW they were up to something so I grabbed my camera a pressed record. It started recording the second after the stink bomb exploded in Weston's face... FUNNIEST THING!!! Until I started smelling it!! :(:(:( Anyhow... Enjoy :) Hope you laugh as hard as us.

Day 6- Favorite super hero and why

I've been thinking about this and I don't think I really have a favorite super hero  :S  I mean they all pretty much do the same thing, so I decided to do my favorite fictional character instead!!  :)  Kind of opens it up a little more ;)  ...I have a TON of favorites tho is the problem.  But since I was watching this one last night and she reminds me of myself, I'm going to choose Alice.

I've LOVED Alice in Wonderland ever since I was little.  I remember watching every version of it I could.  Like I said she reminds me of myself.  Her dreams are sooooo weird and everything going on around her is sooooo confusing at times and no one seems to be able to give her an answer that makes sense...  PLUS!!!  I'd love a little bit of that cake that makes you grow taller... Or one side of the mushroom :)

Day 5- A picture of somewhere you've been to

 

This is probably referring to a geographical location BUT I always do things my own way right???  

Sooooooooooooo!!!! I've been to a Volbeat concert  ...This guy REALLY, REALLY likes them;)   ...Anyway.  We had such a great time we are going to go see them again on March 29th.  Justin has invited his cousin Brad (who is the lead singer for the band "The Street") to come along and hang out with us :)...  Can NOT wait to go again!!!

Day 4- A habit that you wish you didn’t have

OOOPS!!!  I had this done and didn't realize I didn't publish it until I went to do Day 5...

Biting my nails :(... I've done this ever since I can remember and my nails are not very strong, soooooo it makes it easy to do.  I recently started getting my nails done to help avoid the painful hangnails.  Anyone have a remedy that ACTUALLY works???

Day 3- A picture of you and your friends

I'm mad because the picture I want is on a CD that I can NOT find :(  This is from the same trip though.  I just wanted the one of all of us. 

So this is my friend Megan and I...  Last September Justin, his friend Benno and his wife Megan (who are also my friends ;) lol) and I all went to Denver to see a pre-season football game and a Volbeat concert.  Seriously one of the funnest and most memorable trips I've ever been on!!  :)  The picture I wanted was from the Denver game.  Hopefully I'll find it for later :)

Day 2- the meaning behind your blog name

I think this one is pretty self explanatory...  My opinion is that our memories and life experiences need to be viewed as an adventure.  Otherwise, getting through the bad times and trying to find the good in them, is almost impossible.  But also, the good adventures, when you remember them, how much more amazing are they???  Life is an adventure that we are all living... Hope it's as wonderful for everyone as ours have been lately.  :)

Day 1- recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

15!!!  I'm not sure I have 15 interesting ANYTHING about myself... I'll do my best.  Forgive me if they aren't interesting!!


1.  I have a lotion fetish... LOVE LOTION.  Have to have it and have to have it ALL the time BUT there are only certain kinds I like and will use.  Banana Boat After Sun Lotion is my all time favorite and I can't live without it.  :)  I throw some others in here and there but always have to have my Banana Boat as my "main" go-to lotion ;)


2.  I am a "Homeless Prevention Specialist"...  Not as "awwww" inspiring as it sounds I promise.  But very glad I can help when I can.


3.  I wake up with a sore throat almost everyday of my life and have since I can remember.  Now I don't even really notice unless it's more sore that usual :)


4.  I have a child who is high functioning autistic... I was complimented by a person once who specializes in autism for having done everything "right" especially for going as long as I did without even knowing.  I'm VERY blessed to have this experience in my life.  It's taught me a LOT about patients and teaching.  Now it's like second nature.


5.  I can pinch with my toes like they are fingers.  :)


6. I have a VERY WEAK gag reflex.  I will dry heave thinking about things that gross me out!!  Some of the people who know this about me will deliberately say or do things that I think are disgusting just to see me dry heave and then laugh.  SOOO RUDE!!!  But, yes.  Funny!!  ...Weston seems to have the same problem.  Poor kid.  He's in for a lifetime of torture too!!


7.  My life has a LOT of  "Soap Opera" moments in it.  LOL 


8.  I LOVE hanging out with my kids...  YES!!!  I actually do!!!  Of course I have the rare moments that I would love to have them out of my hair, but for the most part they are AMAZING creatures and make me laugh all the time.  We are a VERY sarcastic bunch and we at least  find ourselves very amusing...  I also LOVE my Lover and LOVE hanging out with him too!!  I have never gone a morning without him telling me he loves me and without a goodbye kiss.  :):) Then I sit around and miss him alllllll day long.  Really I do :(  He's the best and sooooo good to the kids.  He also loves them to pieces and they in turn love him back ...We all love watching NetFlix!  Now one of the questions the kids have every week is "What movie are we watching tonight???"  We have a great time just being with each other.  I love that!


9.  I'm afraid of the wind :(  I literally get anxiety and sometimes panic when the wind starts blowing hard!!!  The instant that I think is behind this weirdness is, when I was between 1-3 years old (Yes I know that is young!!  But I have a very VIVID memory of this and I know it happened when we lived in Iowa ...We moved to Utah when I was 4 and we moved to Utah from South Dakota, and to South Dakota from Iowa.  So therefore this HAD to have happened when I was TINY!!!  ...Like I said it's VERY vivid.).  So, we lived in Iowa.  I remember my mom trying to get everyone situated in the basement.  She told me to go upstairs and tell my sisters to come downstairs.  I walked upstairs and my sisters were standing in front of a sliding glass door, or a big window (I think it was a sliding glass door).  I told them that Mom said they needed to go downstairs ...Now they had been watching out the window for something and as I was telling them their facial expressions changed from searching to excitement and they started jumping up and down and screaming "IT'S HERE!!! IT'S HERE!!!" and then turned towards me and RAN down the stairs.  The next thing I remember was being in my brother Cory's room and my mom trying to find a station on the radio with broadcasting.  There was nothing but static.  I remember looking out of Cory's bedroom window at how dark it was outside and almost a greenish color.  Which may explain why I thought that the Incredible Hulk was going to come save us all and we would be alright :)  ...Really that's all I can remember.  But when I think about it I get the same panicky feeling that I do when the wind blows.  SOOOOOO there it is!!  OH and I have REALLY strange dreams when the wind blows too :)  lol


10.  Justin cooks dinner every single night for the family!!!  Unless of course (on RARE occasions) we decided to go out (Honestly we'd rather eat his cooking).  And it's yummy, can I have seconds and make myself sick from being so full, kind of cooking.

11.  My Aunt Donna calls me randomly to tell me she loves me and is thinking about me.  She did this last night and that's why I'm writing about it ;)  ...Besides.  How many people can say that they have an Aunt Donna who does that for them???  I LOVE HER!!!  :)

12.  We are going to be moving, probably in March to Cobble Hollow Drive... Formerly known as North Myton Bench.  LOL.  I prefer Cobble Hollow Drive ;) and it has the most amazing view!  Can't wait to have everyone come visit :):)  ...Well ALMOST everyone ;)


13.  When I organize things (papers, books, CD's, etc.)  I have to organize them biggest to smallest ...and it drives me crazy to have one that is an odd shape.  Like shorter and wider than the rest or taller and skinnier.  I know... random weird thing!!


14.  My friend Candice comes to see me every single day at work.  Unless she is too chicken to drive in the snow.  It's happened a couple of times this year ;)  


15.  YAY!!!  I made it!!!  OK. Here is the last one  ...I have a REALLY stupid laugh!!!  It sounds soooooo dumb.  And sometimes I snort too!  lol... Refer to the "My Name is Larry" video or the "Hold My Teeth" video.  I can't help it... It's my true, "real life", that made me laugh hard, laugh :)  Annoying but, OH WELL!!!  I do not however apologize for the snorting.  It's a family trait... Although I seem to be the only one in my immediate family who has it... My cousins from my Uncle Darryl's family tho... Almost all of them seem to have inherited that trait also :)
