Me: Why? Do you need to eat?

Mar: I don't know... It just hurts! It feels funny! Like something isn't in there that was in there before but it's not in there anymore!

Me: So stuff that was in your head before isn't in there anymore?

Mar: Yea!

Me: Like what?

Mar: Like 4+4. It's not there anymore... I don't know it anymore!

Me: WOW! So you don't know what 4+4 is anymore?

Mar: NO!

Me: Well do you know what 8+8 is?

Mar: Yes! I told you it was 4+4!

Me: Wow! That's tough!

Mar: I know!

So... my daughter got dressed up like a truck stop diner waitress tonight and Asked what I'd like to order. When I asked for an order of modesty she giggled and said "You're not my Mom! I have kids I'm trying to support here! What would you like to order?" I'm not going to tip her... she yelled at me!

Quirky Jerks

Carrie had this on her blog... and since I'm quirky!

1. I HAVE TO HAVE LOTION! Don't even bother waiting for me to wash my hands if I don't have lotion! YES I know it's gross... but then I obsess about my hands! IF THEIR IS WATER ON MY SKIN... THEIR HAD BETTER BE SOME LOTION INVOLVED! I lotion for about 1 hour after I shower! And I'll sometimes wake up in the middle of the night to put more on!

2. I'm VERY interested in the paranormal! I would absolutely LOVE to be a ghost hunter! Even if I saw one I'd pee my pants!

3. I have to have my makeup on before I can do my hair... I just can't see what I'll really look like in the end so it's pointless!

4. I used to have to delete all of the names off of Caller ID... It drove me crazy! Especially if it was someones number that I knew. Now I'm completely opposite... I can't delete anything off! It bugs me... and instead of just dialing the number I know by heart I'll find it on CID and then select dial.

5. When I do my laundry... and then fold it... I hang up all of the shirts (once they're on the hanger I put it in a GIANT pile and I hang up all at one time). I don't care how the shirt goes on the hanger BUT, when you lay the hanger, with the shirt, back on the bed make sure ALL of the hooks are going the same way please!

Amy got to go to the Jazz game on Monday... AND she got to enjoy the view! I'm sooo jealous! She had the best seats, right behind the team! I told her that if she couldn't bring me along to make out with Kyle then the least she could do was take a close up for me! Here it is! In all it's GLORY! THANK YOU AMY! Your the best friend EVER!!

Baby Shower

We had my nieces baby shower today. It was great to see everyone and laugh! I can't believe my little "mamers" is having a baby! We played a balloon game that you have to blow up the balloon and stick it under your shirt and then the person next to you goes. Then once your all through blowing them up, you pop them in the reverse order... My mom was hilarious! We decided it looked like a droopy boob. Anyway... LOVE YOU JAMIE... Can't wait to see Cohen!

And A Happy New Year!!

So... Trent's gone to North Dakota, Weston went to a friends, Marliegh fell asleep, and me and Al were feeling jipped about bringing in the new year with nothing to do. So we decided that we were going to get out the pots and pans and try to wake up Heather and the Zagers. We had fun... Kool Whip hated it! I'm not sure if we woke them up or not. :) After our fun we got ready for bed and 2 hours later I got to have my first experience of 09 by cleaning up puke! Mar woke up and didn't make it to the bathroom... four times... I slipped and almost feel in it trying to find the light. :'( Anyway, Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! I have a few resolutions myself that I'm just dying to accomplish! lol

Happy Birthday Alex!!

My oldest born is 14! WHAAAA!!! Honestly it boggles my mind. I can remember having only one child... brand new... and thinking it would be forever until he slept through the night. Now I'd give anything to go back to that day!

Anyway, LOVE YA BUD! Have a great birthday!

Jazz Game

Jason invited us to go to the Jazz game with him & Nicole last week. So of course we went! ;) We all wore our Korver Jersey's... except for Trent who went and bought himself a Milsap one. Anywhoo... We ate at Rodigio Grill and then opted for Dippin' Dots for desert! YUM!! We had fun... and thanks to Nicole who let me borrow her camera to snap one or two shots of my boyfriend Kyle ;) OK it was 14 or 15!

I think those might be Jasons bedroom eyes... lol

WHOOPS!

So most everyone knows what my life is like... if I'm not taking my kids to a ball or dance practice, I'm going to a song practice or helping someone do something or other. Well today I had to do ALL of those things and I was up bright and early... 5:00 a.m. to be exact. It wasn't until noon, after I had gone to drill team practice, the school to read with the kids, a singing practice for the little girls at the school, and then over to a friends house, where I took off my shoes at the front door, and then had to put them back on to go to my car (an hour later) that I realized that I had on 2 different flip flops... Just so you don't have to wonder, I wore them like that for the rest of the day (even to Wal-Mart) I didn't have time to go home ;)
